2006-11-13 22:00:29 David Lechón description Binary package hint: nautilus I have seen that in Firefox and Gimp. When I select in GIMP "Save as" and I click "Browse for other folders", there is a tree menu at the left side. In this menu, I have "System", "Floppy Disk" but "Desktop" and "My home folder" are hidden. I can select it but there is no text there. In firefox there is the same bug when I select "Save as" in some download. Running on Ubuntu Edgy 6.10 and Gnome 2.16. This problem has been seen in Firefox 2.0, The GIMP 2.2, Gaim 2.0Beta3.1, Gedit 2.16.1 and, probably, affects more software under Gnome. How to reproduce this bug: 1.-Click in File -> "Save as" (depending on the software, "Save as" will be in another menu) 2.- Click "Search other folders". 3.- In the left list, you will see two blank lines on top of the drives. These lines are "Desktop" and "Home" folders, but there is no icon or text to describe them.
