Bug Description
Nautilus desktop icons should not be allowed below the launcher (with or without the autohide mode). That will avoid flickering when people wants to switch between the two modes.
Same reasoning will go then for preventing nautilus resizing itself when the launcher is not in autohide mode. It should just crop the wallpaper (and thus, not reacting to _NET_WM_STRUT).

seems it's going to be non trivial to get, especially if the position is stored in the configuration and you switch between classic and unity session, do we really need to do this one?
