3) closing one instant of nautilus
4) nautilus crashed all together; on the same machine, while running the same commands, the installed system (with the latest update of 2010/10/26) crashed and damaged the partition table of the 2nd SATA-drive which houses a swap and the /home partition; I was able to save my data with Parted Magic 5.2 but did not have any way to access the partition through Ubuntu
