Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
1) Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10
2) nautilus:
Installed: 1:2.32.0-0ubuntu1
Candidate: 1:2.32.0-0ubuntu1
Version table:
*** 1:2.32.0-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
3) I expect only one copy of the file name to appear when renaming a file.
4) The "rename" file name text as well as the "list view" file name text appear overlapped.
===========
To reproduce:
1. Set Nautilus to 33% zoom-level in list view. This is the only zoom-level and view I've found that exhibits the issue.
2. Select a file/folder. Keep the mouse cursor within that file/folder's Name column and row. If the mouse is anywhere else, the issue is not immediately present. It's also possible to cause the problem by moving the mouse cursor _back_ into this zone after you've put the file/folder into "rename mode."
3. Press F2 to rename the file. Again, if you right-click the file and choose rename, the mouse cursor will not be in a location to cause the problem.
4. You should see the white "rename" file name text overlapped by the black "list view" file name text. (see screenshot)
