Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

When you have mounted a gvfs, like a FTP server, it appears in the Places menu and the left side panel of all Nautilus windows, except when you are in a "Open/Browse" dialog in a program, and this is when you often really need it. To get to the FTP you have to go to the ~/.gvfs folder witch most users do not know of, or how to locate.

Thank you for your bug report, could you make a screenshot of the issue? You probably speak about the gtk fileselector than about the nautilus file browser. What software has the issue?

Your probably right. The issue is with any thing that has an "open" dialog, like gedit or thunderbird.

I attached a screenshot to make things more clear.

I also notced that the bookmarks are also not pressent.
