Bug Description
The "Connect to Server" program should memorize the typed information from last time. Just like when you fill forms on the internet, your browser memorizes that you typed for each field. The same should happen with "Connect to Server"
The way it is currently, is very inconvenient because I have to type about a hundred characters every time I try to log in to my server.
The "Service type" should also be remembered. I always have to change that to FTP with login from Public FTP.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, you didn't give us enough information for us to work on the bug. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http:// www.chiark. greenend. org.uk/ ~sgtatham/ bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. Also please tell us which Ubuntu release and what Desktop environment (Gnome, KDE, ...) you are using.
When reporting bugs in the future please use apport, either via the appropriate application's "Help -> Report a Problem" menu or using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/ReportingBu gs.
