nautilus ctrl+L shortcut does not restore the button navigation bar when pressed again

Open a nautilus window.

1) Press ctrl+L, the location bar opens.
2) Press it again, nothing happens

I would expect nautilus toggling away the location bar, restoring the buttons navigation bar

Actually I would be happier when the toggle button were implemented again.

Just by accident I discovered that opening a new tab restores the button-based location bar.

Just FYI: Howto switch between button location bar and text based location bar

I've found when I press CTRL+l, the location bar will be opened (just like in the old days, so nothing new here).

However if I would like to go back to the button navigation bar a simple ESC is enough.

Opening a new tab doesn't fix it for me. (Nautilus 3.2).
