Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

Ubuntu 9.10

When attempting to create a file or folder in a webdav share with a name other than the default name, or if you rename a file/folder, this error occurs:

"The item could not be renamed.
Sorry could not rename "untitled folder" to "New name": Bad Request."

if you refresh the window after clicking ok on the error. I it is clear he renaming/creation did actually take place.

Steps to reproduce with folder creation
1. Open a WebDAV share in Nautilus
2. Go to File -> Create Folder (CTRL+SHIFT+N)
3. Enter the name of the folder and press Enter

Steps to reproduce with file rename
1. Open a WebDAV share in Nautilus
2. Select a file (directory or normal file)
3. Select Edit -> Rename (F2)
4. Enter the new name of the file and press Enter

Expected behaviour:
The new folder or renamed file is updated and shows the new name.

Actual behaviour:
A dialogue appears with the words: The item could not be renamed. Sorry, could not rename <old name> to <new name>: the specified location is not mounted.
Clicking the OK button in that dialogue and refreshing the WebDAV share (by pressing F5) shows that the file has been successfully renamed despite the error message.

Just noticed this bug is still present in 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx). Quite an important bug I think, be great if we could get it fixed.
