Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
This problem did not happen in Ubuntu 9.04, but was observed when my PC and laptop were upgraded to 9.10.
To reproduce the error:
Make a link to a folder. Copy the link to the desktop. Drag the link icon to the right hand side of the desktop. Log out then log back in again. The link should have moved to the left hand side of the desktop (and may be hidden by any existing icons).
This bug report is being created using my ubuntu 9.04 PC so please ignore the debug info attached to this report. I tried twice with the ubuntu 9.10 PC. I'm definitely not upgrading this PC!!!

Sorry, I forgot to change the package. The problem appears to be with GNOME not firefox...
