trash icon appears as full when empty

Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

After several file handling, right clicked in thash and > "empty trash"... the icon still appears as full. This is my screenshot displaying also trash properties. This is ubuntu karmic

The problem is that those files in the trash belongs to an external pen drive. After the usb drive is ejected trash icons displays like full but it has no elements inside. When plugging the usb device again, the .Trash folder inside the drive was about 154 MB (1 GB drive)... and when deleted by hand, trash icon restored to empty... this is an odd behaviour isn't it?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug is caused because instead of deleting files from removal devices, Nautilus creates a .Trash-$USER directory and moves the files into there. This particular bug has already been reported and is a duplicate of bug 12893, so it is being marked as such. Please look at the other bug report to see if there is any missing information that you can provide, or to see if there is a workaround for the bug. Additionally, any further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other report. Feel free to continue to report any other bugs you may find.
