Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

Sometimes when I am browsing a folder with videos (usually AVI files), Nautilus just do not show them. I found out that if I turn off the thumbnail generation (option /apps/nautilus/preferences/show_image_thumbnails=never in gconf-editor) the videos icons come back. It looks like there is a problem with the video thumbnailer, but besides that I think that Nautilus should show the default media icon if it cannot show the thumbnail, it is very annoying and confusing when a file "disappears" from the file browser.

I am using latest update of Karmic.
