Bug Description
When searching for a particular file in Nautilus explorer, it would be great if you could narrow down the search by typing test* in the Go to field. In this case, the behavior would be to list all files in the Nautilus current directory beginning with test. This is a very handy feature that will allow one to narrow down the search quickly without having to scroll down through every record to find what you want.

Not sure what the Go field is - do you mean the Location field?
I think that ones we get the toolbar editor [1] we could create a filter/quick search entry in the toolbar that filters the files in the view.
