Bug Description

I'm not entirely sure of the steps to reporduce this problem, but for the sake of understanding, let us have a folder MyFolder in the home directory. In MyFolder (which works perfectly with nautilus, despite its large size), another folder exists.. name it MyMovies. MyMovies has a number of directories filled with audio and video files at around 24.4 GB, and after attempting to open it, nautilus freezes abrubtly. I can access my files prefectly through the terminal, but any further attempts, even after several reboots, causes the same problem.

I'm on Breezy, and I constantly update my system.

Thanks for your bug. Is it freezing on a directory with lots of preview to do? Is that the same issue than bug #26198 maybe?

Hmm, the [video] previews should have already been generated, as the files had already been accessed. That said, yes, there is a large number, possibly a hunderd or so, videos with previews divided into several other sub-directories. Does it matter that my BitTorrent client downloads everything there? I sensed that Azureues could be the trouble here, but several reboots without Azureues running still ensues with the same problem.

Thanks for your time and patience, Mr. Bacher!

That's what #26198 is about, it's not blocking when creating the previews (you get a clock icon when it's doing that) but when loaded images for preview already done. Marking as duplicate
