Options: replace, convert Nautilus, add Nemo to Ubuntu main (e.g. next LTS), make it possible to skip Nautilus regarding dependencies.

Thanks for your suggestion. The changes you are requesting require more discussion, which should be done on an appropriate mailing list or forum. the ubuntu-desktop mailing list might be a good start.

thank you for your bug report but that's neither a nautilus bug, nor something ubuntu will change nor a thing to discuss on the bug tracker, you should better use user forums or list to discuss that change

Sebastien, of course you're totally correct. My misconception was that in the bug tracker are lots of [wishlist]. Didn't know exactly where to post it; I'll follow your suggestions.
