Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
I don't remember this as a problem in Intrepid, but thumbnails for SVG files in Jaunty are pixelated, like they were created at low resolution and then blown up.

It seems that the thumbnails are rendered as raster images according to the px size in the SVG, and then the raster thumbnail is scaled up for display. Instead, it should render them at each display size, or at least render them so that they fit the largest thumbnail sizes, and then scale them down.
