Icon view zoom incorrectly recalculates scrolled window width

When increasing icon zoom to >100% in icon view, the scrolled window width is zoomed too. Unfortunately, the number of icons that will fit in the window is correct, and hence one would e.g. end up with 3 icons on a 6 icon-wide scrolled window.

As an example, I'll attach three screenshots of a window in icon view mode:

nautilus-window-100.png: a window at 100% zoom icon view -- displays correctly
nautilus-window-150-1.png: a window at 150% zoom icon view -- appears to display correctly, but note the horizontal scrollbar scrolled all the way to the left...
nautilus-window-150-2.png: the same window scrolled all the way to the right -- now note the large empty space to the right of the icons

UPDATE: sorry, should have mentioned that I noticed it after upgrading to Jaunty 9.04rc this morning, in nautilus 2.26.2

Confirmed. Using fully updated Ubuntu 9.04 RC, bug is still here.

Also confirmed. At 400% Nautilus is scrolled all the way to the right, I can see 3 of my folders in Compact View but there are 6 in the row, if I scroll to the left all 6 can fit in the screen but default is for the file browser to be brought to the right which leaves a lot of blank space on the right of the three visible folders.

Verification done, with proposed package and after setting the zoom level to 150% or more there's no right or left scrolled bar anymore, instead a vertical one appears which is expected. Works fine now, thanks all.

I'm using Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 final version, fully updated and I'm still having this window width issue with zooms greater than 100%.

nautilus --version: GNOME nautilus 2.26.2
dpkg-query --show nautilus: nautilus 1:2.26.2-0ubuntu1

That's because you're not running the latest version in jaunty-proposed, and the fixed version is not in jaunty-updates yet.
