Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

I'm running Ubuntu jaunty and i don't use gThumb nor F-Spot to import my photos from my PTP-camera.
Instead of that i'm using Nautilus (which can now browse inside a PTP-camera thanks to gvfs-backends/libgphoto2-2) to import my photos and jBrout to manage them.
Therefore i've uninstalled F-Spot.

When i plug my camera, a popup window offers me... no choice at all !

I should be able to select at least Nautilus or to key a custom command

you can enter a custom app on the media tab of the nautilus preferences, create a binary for the tool you're using or select file browser (nautilus) does that works for you?

This means that there are no applications to handle photo's. That's strange though, as you get a choice to specify a custom action usually.

Does this combo box become active when F-Spot is installed?

Thanks

well i have uninstalled all the mono stuff
but if i install gThumb i can indeed specify a custom action or choose to open Nautilus.
These choices should remain without gThumb

Hi!
I am having the same problem: In nautilus the button to select which program should be opened if photos are found is greyed out. In gnome the key /desktop/gnome/volume_manager/autophoto_command says f-spot-import but it doesn't work. When I attach the camera a message pops up but here the option to chose a program is also greyed out.
What information can I provide to help to solve this problem?
Thanks.
