Can't press delete to remove network mounts

Bug #3340 reported by Sitsofe Wheeler on 2005-10-18
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
nautilus (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

If you have added a network mount and go to network window it is not possible to remove the mount by pressing delete.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Go to Places -> Connect to Server...
2. Ensure the Service Type is Public FTP and in the server box type aaa .
3. Click Connect.
4. Realise you have made a mistake. Go to Places -> Network Servers.
5. Wait for samba scanning to time out then highlight the "aaa" FTP folder.
6. Press the delete key.
7. After the "Delete Immediately" dialog appears press the Delete button at the bottom right.

Expected results:

"Delete Immediately" dialog to be "Remove server shortcut" (because that volume isn't actually mounted...) or for shortcut to have been deleted immediately at step 6.

Actual results:

An "Error While Deleting" dialog pops up saying:

Error "Operation not permitted" while deleting "network:///volume-aaa".
