Binary package hint: nautilus

Since the last update: When I open Places - Network the next window shows "Windows-Network". When I click on it, the following window is shown as empty. Thanks for the report, both access links to smb:/// , what happens if you type that on the nautilus location bar? Does it works fine with another new user created on your system? what does gvfs-ls smb:/// returns? thanks in advance.

hi Pedro,
here are the answers to your questions:

what happens if
you type smb:/// on the nautilus location bar?

It shows "WORKGROUP" which is the correct name of our home-network. I
can access the Windows machines, but not the Ubuntu-Host-PC, from which
Ubuntu 04.09. is running in VirtualBox.

what does gvfs-ls smb:/// returns?

It returns "WORKGROUP"

greetings

kaffee
