selection should not be case limited

When I hit Ctrl+s a window appears and I can write a simple expression. All file whose name matches this expression are then selected. There is only a problem for me: the filter used should be case insensitive. There is no point in me searching for a file whose name I can barely remember if I should also rembember the case..

We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,

the description seems clear, the user request the selection to not be case sensitive which is a reasonable upstream wishlist
