Mounting removable drives causes blank windows in other sessions

Bug Description

My wife and I frequently are logged in to the same computer. We use the user switcher to jump back and forth between sessions. If my wife mounts a removable drive, like the SD card from our digital camera, it creates blank (totally white with no border) windows in MY account. I can't get rid of them, because they don't have a close button or window border. If I try to use the "Force Close" applet from my gnome panel, it says that Nautilus has crashed and cannot be restored. I then get a desktop where all my icons are gone.

I've attached screenshots of the white windows and the nautilus crash. I can post log files if it would be helpful. Just tell me what's needed.
