Steps to reproduce:
1. pop a CD with some contents into the drive
2. drag a folder onto the desktop to copy it
3. Look at Properties ->Permissions of the folders and files
Folders now have "Access files" (dr-xr-xr-x) permission, so I can not change the contents of them. Files are read-only (r-xr-xr-x).
Expected behaviour:
Remove read-only flag (chmod u+w) on all folder and files when copying from a read-only volume. |
