Bug Description

In Ubuntu 8.04 drag-n-drop copying from another device, such as USB, changes the file date and time to the date and time of the copy. It doesn't preserve the date and time. This worked fine in Gutsy Gibbon.

This is a pretty bad regression of "data-loss" kind, since you lose information when you copy files. For many users and applications the time stamp carries important information. But the error is maybe in nautilus and not gvfs?
