strange characters when copying

Hi,

In new ubuntu 8.04, with gnome 2.22.1, when I copy or move files in nautilus, I get strange characters.

I installed ubuntu spanish version and it worked fine everything. And suddenly when I copy files in the new pop up window in nautilus got some rare characters, I attached an image.

I know that maybe this is a nautilus/gnome issue, but this is the first place I found to put this bug.

Also I don't know how to get more info from my system that can help you to solve this, just tell me how get it and I'll send you.

Before I forget, great job you are doing with ubuntu, very great job!!

Exactly the same problem in Ubuntu Hardy Spanish version, not in Gutsy.

Moreover, this strange behaviour appears only copying or moving a single file.

I had the same issue. Ubuntu Hardy spanish version.
Has anyone experienced it again in Intrepid? In my case, I have not tested it too much.

As this bug was filed against a now unsupported version of Ubuntu, and this issue has been fixed since then, I'm closing this bug.
