Bug Description

Open a directory in a partition outside home, search current folder, search ignores generic character *
example: search for 'LG' I see all files starting with 'LG'
search for 'LG*' I see NO MATCHES.
Same search in a home subdirectory works fine.

Thank you, indeed that's an issue. Would you perhaps also report it upstream on gitlab?

Hello
The search works very well in a partition formatted in NTFS.
It does not work for a partition formatted in EXT4 whether there is the x-gvfs-show option or not.

(ubuntu 22.04)

inside NTFS => https://zupimages.net/up/24/25/2ghe.png
inside EXT4
