2024-04-26 23:12:19 Coeur Noir description Hi, ubuntu 24.04 + nautilus 46 in Nautilus « main menu » the keyboard-shortcuts list [ ctrl + ? ] reads F9 as a way to hide / unhide side panel. I wish it were true, but it's no longer since 23.04 where F9 was disabled upstream ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/2020009 ) Though there was a button~icon at the bottom of window for hiding / unhiding side panel. Now this also seems gone. So now only way to hide side pane is to adjust width of Nautilus window. Hiding side pane is very convenient when needing to drag and drop elements between two ( or more ) open windows of nautilus. It can ease task for visually impaired people and people with unsure or slow hand moves. Could F9 shortcut or dedicated button-icon ( or both ) make a comeback in Ubuntu ?
