In Ubuntu amd64 alpha6:
run gconf-editor
set /apps/nautilus/preferences/show_advanced_permissions to yes
run nautilus
choose a directory
right click on it
in permissions:
"set user ID" does nothing
"set group ID" changes both, UID and GID
This was OK on 7.10 |
In Ubuntu amd64 alpha6:
If you have a file or directory with the bit SGID set, like
/etc/bind# ls -laF
-rw-rwsrw- 1 bind bind 237 2008-03-14 11:42 db.0
nautilus show it as:
db.0 237 bytes 2008-03-14 11:42:02 bind bind -rwsrwsrw-
