Bug Description
.mp3 and .mkv files shown on desktop and in the file explorer, have the default icon (of their respective file type), instead of a thumbnail, as in previous Ubuntu versions (at least 16.04 and before): For mp3 files the embedded image (e.g. album cover), and for mkv files a snapshot of the video. If this is intentional behavior, it would be nice if you could provide a toggle switch or something, giving user the option to view each file's thumbnail (as in 16.04 for example), or keep seeing the default icon.
