Nautilus / files feature 'Star' Not working.

Bug Description

Hello, I am facing two problems with Nautilus file manager in my Ubuntu 20.04.

Note That - This is for the mounted drives only. Like
/mnt/Store/Tutorials/Protoshop...

Firstly, when I add the visible column 'Star' it does no show up in deeper folder / file level. Even it shows up it goes away after coming back to the folder.

Secondly, In above situation when the 'Star' column is visible and I click to star a file the star icon is not interactive. And I do not get the file inside the Starred folder.

Thank you for your bug report. Is the location indexed by tracker? It does sound similar to https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/issues/243
