Bug Description

Every time i use PNY usb flash drive, when I am trying to eject it, even if i did not store anything, it shows message "Writing data to a device, do not disconnect". This message freezes the
window for a half of a minute or so. This issue affects both Thunar and Nautilus, on both Ubuntu 20.04 and Ubuntu Studio 20.04. The similar issue is documented in the bug #1762595, but the message on the board with that bug states that anyone encountering it should file a new bug report.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1910455/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

Thank you for the bug report, could you include the log from 'journalctl -b 0' after triggering the issue?

the log is truncated horizontally, could you get a new one doing

$ journalctl -b 0 > log

the log file should have the proper formating

thanks, the log doesn't seem to have any useful clue though :-/ it's probably not a nautilus bug if other browsers have the same issue
