Thanks for your report, is this still an issue with nautilus 2.21.90? Can you tell us a few easy steps in order to reproduce the bug? thanks.

In all seriousness Nautilus crashes so often, and apparently often with no reason, other than it being used, I'm not sure what I was doing a week ago. I've have noticed less instability, but then Nautilus has been "crippled" it seems. Common file associations like text files and archives, have no program associations with them. Also, the Nautilus scripts, are installed, but not visible from right click any longer.

Actually, I am currently running 9.10, I don't know why the bug-report says
otherwise.

David, please submit the crash with apport, there's no indication here that says you're facing the same issue.

I also got this crash on 12.04. However I am not sure if it would be more appropriate to open a new bug (and mark this one as duplicate) since the stacktrace associated with this bug report is 4 years old.

I can reproduce the bug by pasting a file (either with ctrl-v or using the right-click menu) after a copy. Pasting after a cut does not produce the bug.

I attached the crash file.
