Bug Description

This happens randomly every once in a while:

- Clicking on Nautilus' Launcher icon does nothing (it blinks for a while as if it was loading, then no window opens).
- Desktop icons (icons of files and folders in the Desktop) don't respond to clicks or right-clicks
- running nautilus from a terminal will not print any error message, won't open any nautilus window, but it will not exit either, just wait forever

The workaround is to "ps aux | grep nautilus" to find nautilus' process id and kill it. Then everything goes back to normal.

the wiki page you are pointing states for low
"Bugs that affect unusual end-user configurations or uncommon hardware "

that's the case here since that's the only report of a such issue in years

LOL just because you have had no other report you assume it's because of an unusual configuration or hardware? That's a pretty random assumption.

Anyway, the stupidity with which bug importance in general gets set is beyond hope, so who cares I guess. If it was only for this bug...
