nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_is_a()

As nautilus was thumbnailing photos and videos on a Nexus 5X connected via PTP, I right clicked in the file browser close or possibly on a file name of one of files that did not yet have a thumbnail generated. It was at that point that nautilus crashed.

The bug is quite old and the code changed since, also there has been no new report of that specific problem nor activity for some years so assuming it has been resolved and closing the ticket. If you still get issues in newer versions feel free to open a new report though.
