Bug Description
In Nautilus 3.15.x create symbolic links ("make link") was removed from the context menu (not sure why?). The alternate method with middle-click/drag does not work with mouse-less device (laptops/netbooks) and the other alternate method, which involves mouse, keyboard and three fingers simultaneously, is very inconvenient for normal users and has bugs.
And It doesn't look like upstream is keen to get back this option very soon. For LTS, its a major regression and Ubuntu should patch it until they do.

Well, lucky me!. After my comment on Bugzilla they pushed a patch which adds an option in the context menu.
