Bug Description

As I don't know how to describe it, I have uploaded two pictures: http://imgur.com/a/MvSia
The Bug is in 15.04 and 15.10!
Primary monitor: 1920x1080, secondary: 1280x1024

I also experienced it when I plugged my laptop into my TV.

I am also not sure which package causes this, probably Lightdm?

Luca Weiss, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.

If you switch to the open source drivers is this issue still reproducible?

Sorry for the delay, I can confirm the bug persists when using the Open-source drivers (AMD). But I also had the same "problem" while using the proprietary Nvidia drivers on my laptop (it has dual-graphics with an integrated Intel one).

Luca Weiss, to see if this is already resolved in Ubuntu, could you please test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ and advise to the results?

So, I just tested with the image from yesterday (about 22:00 GMT+2).
Results are the same: http://imgur.com/a/l1k3d ; sorry for the first blurred picture, the login screen was so damn short on the live-cd, and my cellphone camera's takes very long to actually make shoot the picture.

Luca Weiss, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one. Could you please send the bug to the developers of the software via http://bugzilla.gnome.org/describecomponents.cgi?product=nautilus ? Please advise on the upstream bug URL, so a bugwatch may be added here about its status. Thanks in advance.
