Wallpaper does not refresh of the icons on desktop are hidden by gsettings

Bug Description

if the desktop icons are hidden using the code
      gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background show-desktop-icons true
any changes made to wallpaper do not show effect

so if I do this
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background picture-uri file:///home/name/Desktopl/newimage.jpg
the wallpaper does not change long as the icons are hidden
