Bug Description

Since the release and my installations of 14.10, Nautilus (now 3.10.1) has not responded to commands as reliably as it used to. I find that, for example, clicking on the File menu in an application such as LibreOffice Write, may either produce no response, or may cause a currently maximised window to minimise. It may take several attempted clicks to actually drop down the File menu.

With a file manager window, clicking on the Documents choice may open something else such as Home.

Basically the file management just seems generally flaky in its responses. Sensing of cursor positon and mouse button input seems uncertain.

I was hoping this would be straightened out by an update (I apply updates almost as soon as they are available) but this hasn't happened.

I have 14.10 installed on two systems and they both show this odd behaviour. I have menus set to appear in windows title bar.
I have not tried switching them to the desktop menu bar.
