Bug Description

In the file browser of 14.04 LTS updated each day, the minimal column width is limited to their title width, even for wide title translations. Also the more right column stays in the window and not disappears on the right. Also the only variable column width is the filename, then it disappears first in not very wide windows.
A better way could be : the minimal width of a column is the min of title and of content.
The left columns are better maintained, the right columns the least.
The minimal right columns are the first to disappear under the right window limit.
Cross right and left in ltr languages.

Also, can you default sort the files with the more recent first. Else permit to choose in preferences the column to sort and descending or ascending.

When I search in my file list and I compare files in different folders, even in old ones, for remember what happened I need to know the date and time of the files and I can't. Compare is easier when date and times are aligned like with 2004-07-23 04:19. Could you permit this for who having this need, by some options on date/time formats ?

Changed in nautilus (Ubuntu):
