Bug Description
I have two screens, 'Laptop', which is 1366x768 and an external monitor, which is 1440x900. The external monitor is on the right.
I have icons on my desktop, when I right click and select 'Organize Desktop by Name', icons are placed below 768 pixels on the smaller screen. This makes it impossible to see them on the desktop and move them manually.
Attached is a screenshot of switching desktops, with a blue icon in the lower right that is unreachable.
"wmctrl -m" says I'm running 'Compiz'.
OS is: Ubuntu precise (12.04.4 LTS)
I believe it is Unity-3D.
I apologize if this is filed against the wrong package.

I have a similar monitor setup and can reproduce this. Nautilus is the program handling the desktop under unity. It appears it uses the virtual desktop size and not the display size when positioning icons.
