drive properties consumes 100% cpu

Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

When I select a mounted drive from my desktop and view it's properties
I can see that the contents numbers get calculated.
As soon as I close the properties window (even when the numbers stop)
the cpu usage goes to 100.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Which version of Ubuntu are you running? Which file system the drive you're testing have?

It was in gutsy ... At this point it isn't happening any more (tribe 5, nautilus 2.19.90)....
BUT there isn't any calculation of the drives size. It states "Unknown".
