Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
Now Gnome offers no straight-forward way to erase optical discs (blank in case of CD's, format in case of DVD's), but this could be pretty easily fixed by adding an option to nautilus context menu for optical drives. Name of this option could be chosen from "erase optical media", "blank CD-RW", "format DVD[-+]RW" and "format DVD-RAM" depending on type of actual disc in drive. This should call a dialog setting options for erasing (e.g. speed) and confirming it.
