Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

I was trying to log off, ending the current session,without closing the the many applicationsstill running.The system hanged before completely logging off and I had to reset the PC. After that, the menu toolbar in the upper horizontal part of the screen is not displayed, making impossible to launch applications and almost any other operation.

Thank you for your bug. Could you make a screenshot of the issue? Are you sure you didn't remove the bar from the configuration by mistake? Does it happen with an another user on the same installation?

If you have visual effects enabled, disable it and enable again. Then upper menu-toolbar must appeare.

I can make this error happen on demand - I try to connect to a Windows share, with an incorrect domain, get an error, the top menu bar with the screen minimize, maximize and close goes gray and I can not click on any of the minimize, maximize or close buttons.
