floppy won't unmount

Bug Description

I put a floppy icon on my panel. Clicking on it mounts my floppy just fine and I
can use nautilus to manage the files. When I'm done, I click eject, but the
floppy still shows as mounted.

[msoulier@latte msoulier]$ killall nautilus
[msoulier@latte msoulier]$ sudo umount /dev/fd0
umount: /media/floppy0: device is busy
umount: /media/floppy0: device is busy

It simply won't unmount. It's done this before. I basically cannot rely on
nautilus for managing floppies.

This is in warty.

[msoulier@latte msoulier]$ ps -ef | grep fam
msoulier 2920 1 0 2004 ? 00:04:28 /usr/sbin/famd -T 0
msoulier 23002 22981 0 20:45 pts/6 00:00:00 grep fam

It would appear so. I didn't install it, I believe this is a default install.

Yes, when I shut down fam it appears to work perfectly. I suppose fam should not
be part of ubuntu-desktop then.

Thanks.

without fam you don't have dynamic changes in nautilus or the menus by examples.
BTW all this should be fixed with gamin in hoary, I'm closing this bug. Feel
free to reopen if you disagree
