No way to get out of the home directory after connecting to server by ssh

Bug Description

By default I get logged to my /home/myname/ directory. And I cannot get anywhere out of it like in to /opt/apps because:
- there is no move up button in the GUI, only the move back button
- my home directory is the root item in the top navigation menu
