no menu item to create new folder

Bug Description

If the folder is too large there is no room to find an empty place on screen to right click with mouse, and the create a new folder.
Also, there is no entry for creating a new folder under the "Home Folder" on the top bar.

This makes it difficult to create new folders.

The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. You are using the list view right? In icon view you can click between icons on the background
