Bug Description

Until very recently, having Nautilus open, I have been able to hit the forward slash key on the keyboard ( '/' )
and this would commence the first character in a path location, within the text location bar.
The buttons will have disappeared for this to occur.

Now, when I hit the forward slash key, nothing happens.

ctrl-L still works, but this is slower, as first I have to make this key combination, THEN i have to hit slash to start my new path.

I am using Nautilus 3.4.2, standard install and fully updated in Ubuntu 12.4.
