User interface crashes during debugging an android program (debugging on physical device) using Eclipse

Bug Description

I am developing a program for android using eclipse. While debugging on a physical android device using USB debugging, some \ unexcplicable class-path errors occured which I was about to investigate. Shortly thereafter the ubuntu user interface started to crash. System is still running but windows flicker, menu bars disappear, the desktop background is partially black. New windows are not correctly shown, sometimes only a button of a message-window appears. when dragging the browser window to the top it starts to flicker...

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner.

Ubuntu 12.04 (precise) reached end-of-life on April 28, 2017.

Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported in a currently supported version of Ubuntu? Please let us know if you do and in which version of Ubuntu otherwise this report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.
