Hi!

Thanks for the bug report. Is it still happening? I have seen this issue a few days ago myself but thought it was due to some local build of unity i was using.

I just had this issue, with the latest Unity in quantal archives. It seems to have been caused by a nautilus crash or failure to start Opening a window of nautilus and then closing it fixes the issue, since nautilus handles the desktop.
