Bug Description
In what seems to be a regression, opening the GTK file chooser from Chrome, Mudlet (qt app) and several other apps at times takes half a minute or so - which also freezes the host app. It used to be instantaneous and should be still on this quad core, SSD only, 8gb machine.
I'm not certain exactly which package is responsible for this, but this seems like an (annoying) regression.
