Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus-share
Hi, I use ubuntu 8.04.
When someone enables sharing for the first time, ubuntu asks about installing necessary packages. That's OK, packages get downloaded and installed.
During install, apt-get creates new system group for users with enabled sharing permissions. (sambashares or something like that, I don't have an access to my PC now). I've also realized, that current user is automatically added to this group.
Unfortunately, user need to re-login to apply that setting. That leads to misunderstandings - error about not enough permissions to access /var/lib/
